Trooper Justin Schaffer Memorial Hwy Dedication

In honorof Justin and the entire Schaffer family, there will be a signunveiling/memorial highway dedication ceremony on March 24, 2024 (the fourthanniversay of Justin’s End of Watch) at 3:00 p.m.  We will gather for ashort ceremony in the parking lot of Adna High & Middle School located atAdna School Road, Chehalis, WA 98532. 

Followinga short ceremony, WSP will proceed to the first sign located on SR-6 mile post51.  WSDOT Incident Response will assist with a 5 minute closure (bothlanes of SR-6) for the unveiling.  Following the unveiling, there will be ashort procession to encompass the 6 miles of dedicated highway (1 mile for eachyear Justin served).  WSP will pass the sign located at milepost 45, whichwill already be uncovered as there is no shoulder located near the sign. The procession will end as WSP passes the sign and folks can turn around atSpooner Road (mile post 44.91).  Those who would like to meet back at AdnaHigh/Middle School after for a moment of reflection are more than welcome toattend.
